Good news, Vancouverites! The Revel and Riot “God Hates Bags” tote is now available for sale at the brand new Vancouver coffee house – Nelson The Seagull! This place just recently opened at 315 Carrall Street in Gastown, and they have, according to many of our west-coast friends, the best coffee in town.
The black God Hates Bags tote is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, and is large and strong enough to carry lots of stuff that needs carrying. The bag is a mockery of Fred Phelps’ (radical anti-gay American Baptist Pastor) hate campaign which is centered around the slogan “God Hates Fags.” Phelps and his followers picket gay pride events, military funerals, NBA games, and performances of the Laramie Project with giant placards saying “God Hates Fags.” Fred Phelps is a terrible person and a raging homophobe.
