We have made contributions to the following organizations:
The Ali Forney Center For Homeless LGBT Youth
The Ali Forney Center is one of the largest and most comprehensive
organization dedicated to homeless LGBT youth. They are dedicated to
promoting awareness of the plight of homeless LGBT youth in the United
States with the goal of generating responses on local and national
levels from government funders, foundations, and the LGBT community.
Sylvia Rivera Law Project
The SRLP is a collective organization founded on the understanding
that gender self-determination is inextricably intertwined with
racial, social and economic justice. They seek to increase the
political voice and visibility of low-income people and people of
color who are transgender, intersex, or gender non-conforming. The
SRLP works to improve access to respectful and affirming social,
health, and legal services for our communities.
FIERCE
FIERCE is a membership-based organization building the leadership and
power of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) youth
of color in New York City. They are dedicated to cultivating the next
generation of social justice movement leaders who are dedicated to
ending all forms of oppression.
The Human Rights Campaign
The HRC is the United States’ largest LGBT advocacy group and lobbying
organization. Its mission statement says that the “HRC envisions an
America where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are
ensured equality and embraced as full members of the American family
at home, at work and in every community.”
