Pentagon Makes Changes to DADT

Last night, the Pentagon announced more revisions to the enforcement of the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy. A new regulation requires the ‘personal approval’ of one of a handful of senior officials to enforce ‘don’t ask, don’t tell.’ Because all of these officials are political appointees of President Obama, who has made it clear that he wants to see the ban lifted, the move is likely to slow and hinder any practical enforcement of DADT policy.
