Facebook has added, after almost a year of Facebook campaigning, “In a Domestic Partnership” and “In a Civil Union” to their relationship status options. Currently it appears that the update is only for US residents, but should be available for international users soon.
Previously, the set of options included: single, in a relationship, married, engaged, it’s complicated, in an open relationship, widowed, separated, and divorced.
