Revel & Riot has raised and donated $3,828 USD to Zebra Coalition for Giving Tuesday! This was the second phase of our Orlando Pulse fundraiser T-shirt effort. Thank you to all of those who supported it! Our first donation of $19,762 (USD) in November 2016 went to the Pulse Victim’s Fund, the objective of which was to help the families of those killed, and the survivors dealing with the physical and emotional pain of being targeted in the worst anti-LGBTQ hate crime in U.S. history. In the second phase, the fundraiser proceeds are going to for Zebra Coalition, a non-profit organization based in Orlando which provide services to LGBT+ youth ages 13 – 24. The Coalition assists young people facing homelessness, bullying, isolation from their families, and physical, sexual and drug abuse with individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.
We want to thank our partners at the Cardboard Box Project, who generously reduced shipping & handling & processing fees, and helped us to achieve this big donation. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who helped spread this message of solidarity with the LGBTQ community of Orlando, and chose to stand up against violence and bigotry.
